OBO will be presenting at this year’s Greenbuild International Conference & Expo in San Francisco on November 3. Association for Preservation Technology International Conference
November 7-12

OBO Director of the Office of Cultural Heritage Tobin Tracey and OBO Conservator and Curator Valeria Brunori will be presenting at the 2022 Association for Preservation Technology International Conference. Their presentation La Dolce Vita and the US Embassy in Rome looks at how the nineteenth-century Palazzo Margherita was turned into the U.S. Embassy while preserving the Villa Ludovisi wing’s vaulted wall paintings from the end of the 19th Century and three wonderful marble bas reliefs from the 2ndand 3rd century AD. 2022 A/E Industry Roadshow

Our next A/E Design Service RFP will be for those firms interested in contributing to several of OBO’s future modernization and renovation projects. By performing these design services, firms will be able to familiarize themselves with OBO Design Standards and be more prepared for future IDIQs. 

For our program to continue to deliver facilities that represent American values and the best in American architecture, design, engineering, technology, sustainability, art, culture, and construction execution we are continuously seeking to expand the pool of firms who contribute to the program.  

OBO Director of Architecture Curtis Clay will be visiting cities across the country to spread the word about the upcoming RFP, share information regarding the submission requirements so firms may prepare to submit once the solicitation is released, and answer questions. Learn more here.

 

Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Small Business Conference
November 7-12

OBO Managing Director for Program, Development, Coordination and Support Rick Sullivan and OBO Engineer/Architect Brent Derrick will present with Jillian Savage at this year’s SAME Small Business Conference. The conference provides an opportunity for small business representatives to to connect with a community of leading experts, decision-makers, solution providers, business partners, and federal contracting officers.
